Hello there! On this page we will show you how to Dual Boot Windows Vista and Windows 7.
1.Step: Get a computer that can run both Windows Vista and Windows 7. On your other computer go and download the Windows Vista and Windows 7 ISOs. They are important for this tutorial. Once you have downloaded the ISOs go and install a tool named Rufus. Find a 8GB (Or more) USB,plug it in to your computer and open the Rufus tool. Then go and select the Windows Vista ISO since we are going to be installing Windows Vista first. Make sure the USB is NTFS Formated and in the Rufus tool that the Partition Scheme is MBR. Make sure you have a big enough Hard Drive so you can Dual Boot. Put the Windows Vista USB installation into your computer that you want to Dual Boot. Turn it on. Find the key on your keyboard that allows you to enter the Boot Menu. Select the Installation USB. And now you will see the Windows Vista Installation Screen. Go through the installation until you get to the Partition Screen. Make a 20GB or larger Partition and make a second Partition that is also 20GB or larger because we will use that second Partition for Windows 7. Now install Windows Vista on one of the Partitions (Make sure you formated both of the Partitions in the setup). |
